Job Description:/h3:
LHP Engineering Services is looking to fill the following position:
Mechanical Design Engineer : E:Drive
Review, analyze and finalize the system specifications of mechanical designs for rotating machines and associated parts. Responsible for the design and optimization of mechanical components for automotive powertrain systems: components include shafts, couplings, flanges, housing and clutches.
Perform feasibility studies and develop technical proposals with prototype concepts in supporting customer RFQs.
Analysis of mechanical systems, including Finite Element analysis for structural, fatigue,thermal, vibration, and acoustics.
Analysis and specification of electro:mechanical and electro:hydraulic systems.
Creating BOM at the design freeze and identify internal and external suppliers for all parts.
Development of manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
Interface with internal supplier for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly.
Support engineering test and production EOL test.
Proficient is Solidworks modeling ad FE analysis
BSME required
