Under limited supervision, responsible for repair, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Be a creative and proactive contributor, focused on continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.

* The ability to patch and paint walls as needed.

* Perform preventative maintenance functions on all plant equipment.

* Respond to facility related work orders and complete in a timely manner based on priority.

* Review plans, create a materials list, and cost estimation for future facility projects.

* Will be required to troubleshoot and conduct periodic inspections to determine facility work required.

* Follow Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensure that the records for such are properly documented.

* May perform or assist in the installation, relocation and reinstallation of new and/or existing equipment.

* Perform and/or assist in the repair of support equipment that includes but is not limited to, air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems, HVAC equipment, and RO water systems.

* Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

* Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.


Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one to three years experience. Must know single phase and three phase circuits and work with voltages up to 480 volts. Be knowledgeable with tools and materials of the trade. Knowledge in Building Management Systems (BMS) a plus. Must know how to use the appropriate test meters to test for live circuits. Must be able to contribute to an on-call rotation.


Basic PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unit measures, using whole numbers, and common fractions.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently.


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job requires both indoor and outdoor work and at times in adverse weather.
