Position Summary::/h2:
Perform service to the stores refrigeration system, consisting of single air cooled units, to remote parallel racks, HVAC units and refrigerated cases and coils. Role model and demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions::/h2:
: Responsible for all refrigeration needs, preventative maintenance and service work.
: Work closely with a refrigeration mechanic to be exposed to refrigeration, preventive maintenance, service work, ordering parts and equipment.
: Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts on service truck.
: Receive orders from dispatch and call list and combine into weekly work schedule.
: Develop working relationship with key personnel division office staff.
: Assist other mechanics if the need arises.
: Perform timely and complete repairs and preventative maintenance to store equipment including Freon leaks.
: Maintain cleanliness, organization and security of service truck.
: Maintain records of freon usage.
: Troubleshoot electrical mechanical components.
: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Minimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
: Ability to organize and prioritize
: Need to have working knowledge and computer skills in all areas of refrigeration and HVAC maintenance and ability to learn refrigeration concepts quickly as it pertains to grocery store.
: Ability to work with other teammates
: Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial refrigeration or be actively working toward HVAC commercial degree
: Two years Electrical experience needed
: Must be able to travel independently to areas directed
: EPA certificate with minimum of I or II unlimited
: Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary
: Must have a valid state drivers license Desired Previous Job Experience::/h2:
