**Job Summary**
+ The Office of the Provost seeks a highly competent and collaborative data manager to join the 2020 university-wide reaccreditation effort.
+ This is a term-limited appointment, February 2018 April 2020, with the possibility of extension.
+ All interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
+ Application review will begin after the position has been posted for seven days.
+ Thesalary range is based on a full-time appointment. Actual compensation will reflect the reduced effort of 50%.
The person in this position will oversee all data management for the accreditation process, including but not limited to:
+ Collaborate to ensure that data is collected, managed, and used clearly, accurately, and securely
+ Review submitted materials, particularly qualitative documents, for use in the accreditation argument
+ Develop and maintain effective workflows for data management
+ Identify and implement meta-data needs
+ Contribute to strategic planning for how to effectively use data in the accreditation effort
+ Archive files, meta-data, and process documents, as appropriate
+ Troubleshoot problems that arise
+ Other duties, as assigned
**Required Qualifications***
+ Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university
+ 3+ years of data management experience in a professional or higher education setting
+ Some experience with database design and development
+ Experience working on complex problems or systems
+ Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data
+ Strong communication skills
+ Highly motivated with strong leadership skills
+ Highly collaborative and able to take initiative and work independently
+ Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and reliable
**Desired Qualifications***
+ Experience working in a higher education setting
+ Interest in higher education administration
