Job Description
The role requires analytical and organizational skills to develop, coordinate and communicate positioning regarding regulatory and legislative activities. As a political analyst, you will promote and protect Chassis Systems Control (CC-NA) interests by engaging government and non-government influencers. As a member of our strategic communications team, you will also be responsible for developing and overseeing the internal communication framework.and leadership messaging.
Political consulting:
+ Develop and execute annual strategic political cons??ultingplan,
+ Coordinate analysis and response to US governmentlegislation, regulation and non-regulatory policy/guidance,
+ Maintain and develop strategic GO and NGO relationships,
+ Represent CC-NA for political consulting topics within B??osch
Communications:
+ Develop/maintain a framework for open and collaborative internal communication,
+ Oversee information to associates about important strategic and current topics affecting the division/region, including leadership messaging.
Travel up to 10%, primarily domestically.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 3+ years experience in Political Consulting.
+ 1+ year experience in the automotive industry working on technical topics.
Preferred:
+ Technical Degree in an Engineering discipline.
+ Experience interpretingregulatory and/or legislative language.
+ Work experience, particularly within the following areas: Active Safety, Brake Actuation, Automated Driving, Driver Assistance and/or Passive Safety.
+ Comfortable making important informed decisions and defending those positions using sound logic and effectively communicating the decision to all stakeholders.
+ Ability to ensure the successful completion of team deliverables, both from internal resources as well as external sources.
+ Personal sense of ownership of all facets of a project or task.
+ Use previous experience and new knowledge to demonstrate technical and professional competence.
+ Well-organized withoutstanding analytical skills.
+ A marked ability to work in diverse and cross-functional teams.
+ Strong, dynamic interpersonal skills - ability to communicate in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
+ Strong business acumen - attention to detail while maintaining focus on the big picture.
+ Excited to take on a role with high visibility and exposure to all levels of internal and external management, that can lead to growth opportunities inside of Bosch.
