Leaps and Bounds Therapy Services is looking for a part time contingent SLP for our pediatric clinics in Brighton and Howell. This position is 1-3 evenings per week with the opportunity for additional hours when covering for vacations. This position has the possibility of transitioning to a permanent part time or full time position. We are a private, therapist owned company and offer competitive salary and benefits. If you enjoy working with a diverse caseload, an experienced team of physical, occupational and speech therapists, have a desire to learn and grow in your profession, value quality care, and want a positive family friendly environment to work in, then Leaps and Bounds Therapy Services is for you.Job Qualifications Pediatric SLP experience a mustLicensed in the State of MichiganHave CCC-SLP certificationMust have the desire and ability to handle a diverse caseloadEnjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary teamEnjoy working with children and their families Job Description Evaluate and treat diverse pediatric populationWork as a team with OT, PT's and ABA staff to create an optimal treatment plan for the clientAssist with marketing and clinic/community projects as neededConsults with other team members to develop an interdisciplinary treatment plan, outlining patient goals and objectives.Reviews patient progress and updates the treatment plan on a monthly basis, or more frequently if warranted.Implements the treatment plan. Renders direct services on an individual and group basis.Completes required treatment and billing documentation on a timely basis.Provides training and education to patient, family members and caregivers.Fosters and maintains effective professional relationships with other team members, patients, family members/caregivers and the public.Maintains and cultivates professional relationships within the communityParticipates in committee meetings and activities.Assists with administrative duties such as program development, updating policy and procedure manuals, monitoring supplies / equipment, etc.Assist with marketing, community projects, staff training, clinical education, and clinic development projectsKeeps abreast of current standards of practice.Adheres to clinic and governmental policies and procedures.Monitors their productivity and implements methods to improve productivity, efficiency and maintain/improve quality of careMaintains clean and orderly work area- cleaning equipment between each clientAssists in the maintenance of a clean and orderly clinicPerform other diverse duties as required or requestedLeaps and Bounds Therapy Services is looking for a part time contingent SLP for our pediatric clinics in Brighton and Howell.
