Position: Inside Sales
Department: Customer Service
Location: Wixom, MI

Position Overview
The Technical Customer Service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in:depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Receive incoming calls from customers and acquire information to respond on prices, delivery times and/or technical service questions
Acknowledge orders to our customers
Process incoming orders and generate pick slips for warehouse

Place PO to suppliers as required based on incoming orders and existing inventory levels
Follow up on PO from order confirmation to delivery to correct warehouse position
Interface with all departments and resolve any issues as necessary
Maintain inventory at required levels

Support and back:up of team leader
Inventory control
Any other duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Time management
Communication proficiency verbal and written
Customer focus
MS Office; specifically Excel

Minimum Qualifications
2:3 years of similar work experience
Organized with an acute attention to detail
Technical capacity

Work Environment
Operation in a professional office environment as well as a warehouse environment. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.
