#### YOUR TASKS
In the Electronics business division, you will be responsible for the detailed hardware design and development from concept-to-production of automotive electronics and provide technical expertise to development team.
Additional tasks include:
* Develop the Hardware Architecture Design and associated documentation.
* Provide hardware technical expertise and leadership to development team.
* Resolve hardware electronics issues and support escalation topics.
* Mentor engineers through design and development activities.
* Create schematics and PCB layout requirements.
* Hardware requirements elicitation with customers and the system engineering team.
* Perform circuit simulations and calculations to support the hardware design.
* Function as the point of contact to the customer and to the project manager regarding the hardware design.
* Hold kick-off and hardware team meetings, participate in project team meetings as the representative for the hardware project, participate within internal CCB (Change Control Board) meetings.
* Lead and approve design changes through proper configuration management.
* Perform risk analysis and implement associated control measures.
* Create, review and approve work products of the hardware design. Create and publish hardware reports.
* Create and review the hardware WCCA and DFMEA with customers and internal peers.
* Lead schematic, PCB layout, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and manufacturing design reviews.
* Design to a formal Hardware Development Process.
#### YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
* Expert knowledge in system and hardware design and development, analysis, electronics, architectures, reliability, and risk assessment.
* Analog and digital circuit design experience.
* Expert in resistive and inductive drivers including motors.
* Expert in diagnostic strategy for input and output circuits.
* EMC experience
* PCB Design experience
* Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills
* Ability to work in a cross-domain team environment.
* Minimum 12 years of hardware electronics research and development experience
* Minimum 8 years of automotive hardware design and development experience
* Change & configuration management experience with MKS or similar tool
* Master s degree in electrical or computer engineering
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
* Cadence schematic capture and layout tools
* Functional Safety knowledge and experience
* Experienced with MKS
* Experience with DOORS
* PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
