Within this program, you will have three rotation assignments (8 months each) in HARMAN's global Connected Car division. Each assignment brings with it a different skill set and challenge where you are required to be flexible and focused. As a LEAP team member, you will benefit from global experiences across multiple divisions and functions, provided a mentor to help guide your experience, exposure to HARMAN University courses, in:person group learning, virtual and self:paced programs while developing a strong peer and global network.

An engineer knows and applies basic concepts and techniques of the profession under direct supervision and guidance. This position is responsible for the Infotainment Systems that are designed and developed by the Software and Systems Engineering teams. The engineer will focus on designing, analyzing, and developing specific products and technology and for meeting all requirements and specifications set by internal Engineering teams and external customers.
:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering)
:1+ year of relevant internship or academic experience
:1+ year of embedded software developing or testing experience.
:1+ year of C / C++ or other structured language experience
:Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger's, emulators, compilers, etc.)
:Ability to read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware
:Minimum GPA of 3.0
:Ability to travel up to 20 (i.e., seminars)
:Ability to relocate outside of home country for one rotation (typically no longer than 8 months)
:Willingness to work in an office
