Controller Integration Engineer \(CIE\) for the GM GPS controller program\. Mission: is to provide system level expertise to verify controller functionality, and troubleshoot vehicle level integration issues and recommend solution **Key Responsibilities:** + Verify controller functionality on a bench/vehicle \(examples: engine/transmission/hybrid specific control functions, PPEI/PTEI interfaces, power moding, legislated compliance, DVT interfaces, etc\.\) + Work with TRBs \(or other cross functional teams\) to define HWIO and KBT PCAT test cases and to determine how frequently they should be executed \(every release or only for certain platform milestones\. + Automate system level test cases \(or support automation engineer\) to allow for automated regression testing for portions of HWIO, KBT or Milestone Tests\. + Troubleshoot vehicle level integration issues including hardware, software, calibration and vehicle wiring + Document hardware and software anomalies using RTC \(or similar database\) + Work with algorithm TRBs on algorithm issues and/or suppliers in outsourced programs + Confirm resolution of CIE documented hardware and software anomalies + When production software is provided by GMPT Software Engineering: + Support algorithm requirement development by supporting algorithm TRBs + When production software is provided by the CST: + Support algorithm requirement development by participating in Algorithm TRBs and working with calibration engineers\. + Document algorithm functional and verification requirements + Develop/document/review I/O functional requirements and test cases + Production code following established GPS Software Engineering processes and procedures + Conduct/participate in work product reviews for algorithm, software, and specifications incorporating I/O functional requirements/test cases + Provide support as required: + Software support for calibration teams and development trips + Assembly plant and field problem resolution + Prototype shop and dynos + Durability cars / Captured test fleet + Red X activities The policy of General Motors is to extend opportunities to qualified applicants and employees on an equal basis regardless of an individual's age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or veteran status\.
