HR Records & Information Services is looking for an individual who under general supervision, can formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex information systems. The successful candidate will prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, and analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as necessary. Candidates must be competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently, affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Employees are not involved in the operation, repair, or maintenance of computer hardware, networks, or equipment.

+ Support Exception and Alternative processing and auditing for Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
+ Analyze existing procedures and information requirements for computer applications.
+ Assist the user and senior systems personnel in the definition and solution of a problem.
+ Formulate computer system requirements and procedures for processing data.
+ Formulate and document the requirements for programs in proposed systems.
+ Prepare cost and time estimates for the development and production use of programs.
+ Coordinate the resolution of problems related to application or computer systems.
+ Coordinate the preparation, testing and implementation of programs and systems.
**Related Duties**
+ Prepare operations flowcharts
+ Design reports and forms for data input and output
+ Prepare test data for systems
+ Prepare programs for execution under the operating system of the installation
+ Assist in the design and implementation of upgrades
+ Identify job failures -- jobs that did not process correctly and/or initiate action required for reprocessing
+ Provide administrative reporting information for the area
**Required Qualifications***
+ A Bachelor s degree in a business or science field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Experience with HRMS PeopleSoft software and proficiency with personal computer software
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service proficiency
+ Some progressively responsible experience in PSQuery and systems analysis or related data processing activities
+ Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office Suite desktop tools
+ Ability to keyboard with speed and accuracy
+ Attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
**Desired Qualifications***
Five to Seven years of HRMS experience
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.

This position may be filled using an FLSA exempt or non-exempt designation.
