Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Part Time)

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

About Us: Genomenon delivers genome interpretation software and databases used for clinical diagnostics in cancer and genetic diseases, eliminating the DNA analysis bottleneck with automated tools for comprehensive, up-to-date, evidence-based analysis. We are conveniently located near Briarwood Mall and offer flexible work hours.

Job Overview: We’re looking for an administrative assistant to manage the office and handle some of the day-to-day duties for senior management. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. A highly energetic “A” player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has had a range of experience handling all of the office administration and assisting management with a range of computer-related work with Microsoft Office and Gmail tools. This is initially a 20-25 hour/week working at our Ann Arbor headquarters and occasionally offsite.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage workflow and other administrative duties, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly
Manage multiple Gmail calendars, schedule appointments and meetings; Coordinate meeting scheduling with others outside of the company
Write and edit letters, emails, reports, create Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations as needed
Manage employee travel arrangements
Lead entry into CRM database, respond to initial sales inquiries. Assist with Investor and Customer lead acquisition and management
Onboard new employees with HR paperwork and office logistics
Manage collection of weekly time sheets; conduct initial review for completeness and accuracy
Manage the office facility and maintain office equipment and office supplies
Answer incoming calls as needed
Perform other duties as required to help the Genomenon team achieve its objectives
REQUIRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
Proficiency in Gmail tools and MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Internet research abilities
Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communications skills, able to work independently
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
Able and willing to take on ever increasing responsibilities as the company grows
Self motivator with strong work ethic with a “can-do” positive attitude
Desire to be a part of the fast-paced, high-energy entrepreneurial experience
