Position Summary:

Provide effective administrative support in a wide variety of specialized functions, compile and arrange plant monthly reports and accurately prepare plant presentations. Work independently to coordinate and maintain electronic and hard copy quality and environmental systems for the plant (including TS-16949 and ISO 14001). Actively assist Plant Manager and Controller in all administrative aspects. Responsible for plant's MRO purchasing and cost savings initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the promoting and supporting all health and safety functions

* Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing and controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

* Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

* Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.

* Maintains all updates and controlled work instruction documents and performs records maintenance

* Prepare and maintain outside reporting documents such as Operations Reviews.

* Maintains document control for TS 16949 and ISO 14001

* Prepares requisitions and for MRO Purchasing, monitor and maintain office supplies, etc.

* Assist Plant Manager & Controller in annual budget, reviews, preparations, and presentation

* Assist QA Manager in monitoring customer's internet quality activities

* Coordinates travel, accommodations, and meals for visitors and plant personnel as needed

* Serves as primary contact for outside services

* Assists in the coordination of special projects as needed

* Provides general clerical and office support as needed

* Other duties as required or requested

* Possible supervision of data entry clerk

Education and Qualifications:

* Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus, two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills

* Strong organization skills

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
